Select Bridge Path

On the Bridge pagearrow-up-right, click Deposit to Gonka.

In the Pay section, select the network where your funds are currently located (e.g., Ethereum, BSC, or Arbitrum).

In the Receive section, select the token you want to receive on Gonka.

You’ll then be prompted to connect the wallet on the source chain you’re transferring assets from.

Configure the Transfer

  • Connect Wallet: Click the "Connect Wallet" button to link your wallet (e.g., MetaMask).

  • Select Asset: Choose the token you wish to bridge (e.g., USDC or USDT).

  • Amount: Enter the amount to transfer. The bridge automatically prepares these as axlUSDC or axlUSDT for compatibility with the Gonka network.

Execute and Monitor

  • Bridge: Click the "Bridge to Gonka" button to begin the transfer.

  • Authorize: Approve the transaction in your wallet.

  • Tracking: A link to AxelarScan will be provided. You can use this to track your transaction's progress in real-time.

  • Wait Time: Most transfers complete within 2 to 25 minutes.

Bridge Fees and Limits

  • Transfer Fee: A flat 0.30% fee is applied to every bridge transaction. This fee covers cross-chain gas costs and relayer maintenance.

  • No Deposit/Withdrawal Fees: Onyx does not charge additional fees for depositing or withdrawing outside of the 0.30% bridge fee and standard network gas.

Bridging Path

Departure (Source Chain)

You start by selecting your assets on an external network like Ethereum, BSC, or Arbitrum. Your tokens are sent to a secure Axelar Gateway (a digital vault) on that chain.

Authentication (The Axelar Network)

The Axelar Network monitors this vault. Once it confirms your deposit, it creates a "Universal" version of your token (like axlUSDC or axlUSDT). This version is designed specifically for travel between different blockchain ecosystems.

The Hand-off (Neutron Relay)

The Universal assets are first delivered to a middle-man network called Neutron. From here, an IBC relayer (an automated digital courier) immediately picks up your tokens for the final leg of the journey to the Gonka chain.

Arrival (Gonka Chain)

Your assets land safely in your wallet on the Gonka network. The entire process is automated; you do not need to perform any manual steps once you click the "Bridge to Gonka" button.
